The Tibetan Heart Yoga RETREAT in July 2016 was a success. By popular demand, we’ll have a retreat this year as well:

12-14 May 2017
Buddhayana Haus (Waidhofen)

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. Send an email to tsering.om@gmail.com and I will get back to you with more information.

Theme: This year, our Tibetan Heart yoga RETREAT will focus on how to re-connect with oneself.

We will explore re-connection through the Tibetan Heart Yoga system as well as the Humanistic Psychology. Being both a yoga practitioner, and a humanistic psychotherapist, I am convinced that the integration of these two perspectives will make our experience richer.

The Tibetan Heart Yoga system is based on ancient Buddhist Wisdom rooted in a lineage started by Master Naropa and Niguma, yogis who lived around 1100 AD.
A combination of modern and ancient yoga asana (poses), together with their corresponding meditation, will guide us towards cultivating virtuous states of mind and heart.
We will work with Inner and Outer Methods, practicing from the inside with our thoughts, intentions and ethics, and from the outside with our asana and breath.
Yoga goes beyond being merely physical exercise; it reaches the state of a transformative practice.
During our Yoga and teachings sessions, we will be exploring several aspects of Buddhist Wisdom and Yoga: Compassion, Wisdom and the understanding of our Mind’s own Nature, Inner Fire, the Five Vayus, the six Elements.

Humanistic Psychology is framed within the idea that all of us persons are unique and unrepeatable. We carry a history, are bound to specific circumstances and have our own future aspirations and dreams.
We are more than just instincts and responses to stimuli. We are, in fact, open systems, susceptible to change.
Humanistic Psychology will offer us an integrative way to explore re-connection, the main theme for our 2017 retreat. From this perspective, we will get in touch with our emotions and needs.
