Prayer Wheels – Bhutan

The Tibetan Heart Yoga (THY) series 5 is based on the practice of Guru Yoga, in which gratitude and devotion are central.

This series invites us to transform any action, thought, wish, enjoyment, ornament, word, rest… into an expression of reverence. Our life is transformed into an offering.
This practice is an opportunity to experience and express gratitude to those who have served us and guided us towards being Happy and Free of suffering and the causes of suffering. It will take us to see guidance everywhere, in anything. We will become aware of the power of transforming problems into opportunities for growth.

THY series 5 are based on the yoga of Marpa the Translator (1012 – 1097 AD), as recorded in the translated text “the Crystal Mirror.”

Inner and Outer methods: We will work from the inside with our thoughts, meditations, intentions and ethics, and from the outside with our asana (poses) and breath.

Modern and ancient asanas will be combined. In this series, we will be practicing lots of forward bends and Sun Salutations. The asana are not demanding, all levels are welcome! The most important aspect is where your mind is directed to.
