ABOUT THE RETREAT 2016

The Tibetan Heart Yoga system is based on ancient Buddhist Wisdom rooted in a lineage started by Master Naropa and Niguma, yogis who lived around 1100 AD.
The combination of modern and ancient yoga asana (poses) and their corresponding meditation drives us to cultivate virtuous states of mind and heart. Yoga is not only physical exercise; it becomes a transformative spiritual daily practice.

This first Tibetan Heart yoga RETREAT aims at connecting with the Inner and Outer methods: We work from the inside with our thoughts, intentions and ethics, and from the outside with our asana (poses) and breath.

During our Yoga and teachings sessions, we will be exploring several aspects of Buddhist Wisdom and Yoga: Compassion and the 6 Perfections, Wisdom and the understanding of our Mind’s own Nature, Purification and the Four Infinite Thoughts, the Subtle Body and the 5 Winds, the 6 Elements, among others.

Teachings will be in English.

About the teacher, see here.
