Join us for a deeply restorative weekend retreat dedicated to cultivating mindfulness and self-compassion in a supportive and contemplative environment at the Tannenhof Temple, just outside Munich.
This retreat offers a space to step out of daily demands and reconnect with clarity, presence, and inner kindness through meditation, gentle movement, and guided reflection.
While inspired by contemplative Buddhist wisdom, this retreat focuses on practical, accessible tools for emotional balance and embodied awareness in modern life.
The emphasis this year shifts toward cultivating present-moment awareness, emotional balance, and a kind and supportive relationship with oneself.
Mindfulness is the practice of meeting life as it unfolds with clarity and presence.
Self-compassion brings warmth and understanding to our inner experience, especially in moments of difficulty.
Throughout the weekend, we will explore how these two qualities support each other—helping us relate more skillfully to thoughts, emotions, and habitual patterns.
Through guided meditation, gentle movement practices, breath awareness, and reflective inquiry, we will explore how mindfulness can help dissolve habitual patterns and how self-compassion can become a stable inner resource in daily life.
The practices offered will integrate inner methods (attention, intention, and attitude) with gentle embodied awareness practices. Rather than focusing on physical performance, the emphasis is on cultivating clarity, emotional resilience, and a compassionate presence toward oneself and others.
This retreat is open to both new and returning students. Whether you are beginning your mindfulness journey or deepening an established practice, you are warmly welcome.
